Discovery College is a private independent school that is found in 2008. It belongs to English Schools Foundation (ESF). This school is opened to replace another ESF school, known as Bauhinia School. Discovery College offers primary and secondary school programs to student, International Baccalaureate (IB) programs include:
  • Primary Year (Years 1 to 6)
  • Middle Years (Years 7 to 11)
  • Diploma Program
  • Career Program (CP) for year 12 to 13
Within Discovery College, more than 1400 students from over 45 nationalities and the staff are from 20 nationalities. English is the main language on campus; however, the school also focus on Mandarin and uses it as a second language. Discovery College welcomes all the students in Hong Kong to apply as there are no specific admission policy and would help each student to accomplish their best.
Since Discovery college is a private Independent school, there are no grants received from the government annually. Thus, students are not funded like other ESF schools.

Discovery College believes students need to be independent, creative, good at critical thinking and show positivity. The school thinks this method is the best way for students to contribute to the world. The school values respect, diversity, tradition and future,which the school would do its best to help students learn and share its belief.

The focus of Discovery College is to discover and dream. The school thinks it is great to discover through learning and pursue what is best for the student. The school offers lots of opportunities for students to get to discover what their passion might be, for example, the connection within the community, local sport clubs and all the business institutions. The school believe we all have the duty to promise, make a difference in the community and to the world.
