Best Times to Visit Stanley Market:
The Stanley Market street is available 24/7 but
the stores usually open from around 10am to 6:30-7pm. The market is also
open on all weekends and public holidays, including Christmas. The only time to
be aware when planning for your trip is around Chinese New Year. Chinese Lunar
New Year usually lasts for 3 days during the Lunar New Year, so most stores
might close for the first day, especially small businesses or family-run
businesses. But stores usually open the same time as their regular business
hours during the second day of the Lunar New Year.
Recommendations:
- Best to arrive in the morning so you get to enjoy some sunshine, without being too hot during noon time when the sun is at its peak. Additionally, during this time, there are fewer people around. This is the best opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the restaurants or snap some pictures of the view.
- An alternative time is a late afternoon, so the heat isn’t unbearable, and you’ll get some nice breeze walking along on the market. Head to the restaurants or bars if you feel parched. If you happen to be a seafood lover, maybe you can take a boat and go to Aberdeen to enjoy a seafood dinner.
- Restaurant name: Jumbo Seafood Floating Restaurant (P.S It is expensive)
