 The Harbour School was founded in 2007. It has three campuses in Hong Kong. The language uses in the school are English and Mandarin. The school is recognized by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and follows the American curriculum that allows students to learn the culture, math, science, social studies, artistic, sport and Chinese. Students who graduated from the school are accepted to prestigious schools in the United States, and around the world.
 The school offers education levels in small class size:

• Pre-kindergarten

• Primary

•  Intermediate

• Secondary

• STEAM

The Harbour School is thoughtful, care for students’ strengths and their diversity. The school believes it is best to not have an admission exam, so students won’t feel excluded just because they do not do well on certain subjects to get accepted. It cares for all children and thinks non-exclude children is better education policy. If parents and students are not sure what grade would be best, the school has the chance for a trial day to see if students fit in the curriculum and to see if trial grade fit students. The school also looks at previous school reports and talks to previous teachers before determining the best grades for students. Students get to match with their levels, and the school offers extra help for students that are on an advanced level or fall behind.

The school has an individualized education program to help students in and out of class. Teachers have a bachelor’s degree or higher for qualification. Teachers are native speakers from the US, Canada, UK and some are around the world. The school has no strict rule of grade placement so grades can be determined by age, and what best fits the students socially and academically. The school meets with parents and dices the placement.

The school would describe their students as joyful, confident, passionate, knowledgeable, and amazing.  It is a school that believes learning is fun, put in the effort to work is the best opportunity to learn new things. Learning is important, but the learning environment is as important as well, as the right environment would encourage students to learn, especially with knowing students’ interest and match what they learn. So, the school believes it is best to be an active learning environment, a rather progressive way of learning where students sit in the classroom for a long time that loses their interest. It’s also important in having goals too high that give students constant anxiety and limit social interaction. The school thinks by using active ways of learning, students would be more encouraged, inspired and motivated to learn things.

The school focuses on students a lot as they believe students would learn best when they have an interest in learning. These methods of teaching help impact the educational system making it more impactful for the students. It encourages students to learn and go explore. As all students have different interests, the school would do its best to accommodate them. The school supports different ways of learning and hope by being diverse, it helps meet students' needs, abilities, and experience. The school believes in the future and knows that preparing students would help them overcome challenges and have the ability that benefits them in the future. Overall, the school cares for creativity, solving problems, critical thinking, being flexible, working in teams, kind, and self-growth.
